This is the one our beta community has been asking for. Phase 2 introduces Blackjack (also known as 21 Points) — played directly between friends inside BuddyLot. No casino, no house, no algorithm. Just you, your friends, and the cards.
How the Buddy-Dealer System Works
Here's the flow — it's designed to feel like a real table night with your crew, but with BuddyLot handling all the messy parts:
🃏 Step-by-Step: Blackjack on BuddyLot
- Create a Room → You Become the Dealer
Open a Blackjack room in any group chat or private DM. The person who creates the room becomes the dealer (banker / 庄家) — they run the table, deal the cards, and manage the bank. - Friends Join as Players
Your friends join the room as players (punters / 闲家). Each player sees the table, the dealer, and all active hands in real time. - Players Transfer Coins to the Dealer
Before the game starts, each player transfers their buy-in coins to the dealer through BuddyLot's game billing system. This creates a transparent, verifiable record — no "I thought you already paid" moments. - The Game Begins — Dealer Deals
The dealer deals two cards to each player and two to themselves (one face-up, one face-down). Players take turns hitting (要牌) or standing (停牌). - Player Exits → Auto Settlement
When a player finishes their hand and exits the table, BuddyLot's system automatically generates a settlement bill. The bill shows the exact result: how much the player bet, whether they won or lost, and the final payout amount. - Dealer Settles Through the Bill
The dealer reviews the settlement bill on the platform and settles the payout back to the player through BuddyLot's billing — the same transparent ledger you already use for football betting. No spreadsheets, no calculators, no arguments.
Blackjack Rules — A Quick Primer
If you've never played Blackjack before (or need a refresher before Phase 2 drops), here's everything you need to know:

| Objective | Get a hand total closer to 21 than the dealer — without going over (busting). |
| Card Values | 2–10 = face value. J, Q, K = 10. Ace = 1 or 11 (whichever helps your hand). |
| Hit (要牌) | Ask for another card. You can hit as many times as you want — but if your total exceeds 21, you bust and lose immediately. |
| Stand (停牌) | Keep your current hand. No more cards. Your total is final. |
| Blackjack | An Ace + any 10-value card (10/J/Q/K) as your first two cards. This is the best hand — pays 3:2 (bet 10 coins, win 15). |
| Dealer Rules | The dealer must hit on 16 or below and must stand on 17 or above. These are fixed rules — the dealer has no choice. |
| Push (平局) | If you and the dealer have the same total, it's a push — you get your bet back. No win, no loss. |
💡 Example Hand
You're dealt a 7♠ and a 9♦ — total 16. The dealer shows a K♥ (10).
You decide to hit — you get a 4♣. Now your total is 20. Not bad!
You stand. The dealer reveals their hole card: a 6♠. Dealer total: 16. Dealer must hit — draws an 8♥ — that's 24. Dealer busts!
You win. 🎉 Your settlement bill shows: Bet 10 coins → Win 10 coins → Payout 20 coins.
